Condition: This guitar retains its original USA body, neck, bridge, machine heads and hardware, preserving the originality of the instrument.

The guitar has, however, received some quality upgrades during its lifetime:

  • Upgraded pearloid HSS pickguard fitted
  • Seymour Duncan pickup set installed
  • Original Fender pickguard included with the sale
  • Original pickups and original electronics are not included

The Seymour Duncan pickup combination offers an excellent range of tones, delivering classic Strat sparkle from the single coils alongside a powerful bridge humbucker capable of everything from blues and classic rock through to heavier modern styles.

This is very much a player’s guitar rather than a collector’s case queen. It has clearly spent its life doing exactly what it was built for and has been regularly gigged by its previous owner, giving it plenty of genuine mojo and character. If you’re looking for a pristine museum piece, this probably isn’t it. If you’re looking for a fantastic-playing USA Fender with real personality, incredible tone and years of life still ahead of it, this is an excellent choice.
