Cardioid Column Technology for Superior Sound Coverage

Unlike conventional column speakers, the MAUI 28 G3 features advanced cardioid column technology, providing controlled low-mid and midrange dispersion with up to 18 dB rear attenuation. This significantly reduces unwanted sound behind the speakers, minimising stage spill and feedback while improving vocal intelligibility and overall mix clarity.

The array consists of 12 x 3.5-inch full-range drivers paired with 2 x 1-inch high-frequency compression drivers, delivering smooth mids, crystal-clear highs, and an exceptionally wide 120° horizontal x 30° vertical dispersion pattern.

A specially developed BEM-optimised waveguide and precision phase plugs ensure even high-frequency distribution across the audience, maintaining consistent sound from the front row to the back of the venue.

Deep, Punchy Bass Performance

At the heart of the system is a powerful 12-inch bass-reflex subwoofer, engineered to produce deep, tight bass down to 37Hz. The redesigned bass-reflex cabinet enhances low-frequency performance while reducing unwanted airflow noise for cleaner bass reproduction.

For larger events or enhanced low-end performance, a second MAUI 28 G3 subwoofer can be added to increase bass output by up to 6 dB or configured in cardioid subwoofer mode at the touch of a button for even greater low-frequency control.
