Ibanez GSR200PC-TPB Bass - Transparent Pale Black Burst

The Ibanez GSR200PC-TPB Bass - Transparent Pale Black Burst is a versatile four-string electric bass guitar from Ibanez's popular GIO series, combining an eye-catching figured top, comfortable playability and flexible tonal options at an accessible price. Designed for beginners, developing musicians and experienced bassists looking for a reliable backup instrument, the Ibanez GSR200PC-TPB Bass delivers the classic combination of punchy bass tones and a sleek, modern Soundgear-style design.

Finished in Transparent Pale Black Burst, the Ibanez GSR200PC-TPB Bass features a distinctive PB Canvas Art Grain top over an okoume body, complemented by gold-coloured hardware for a striking appearance. Its slim GSR4 maple neck and purpleheart fretboard provide a comfortable playing feel, making it well suited to practice sessions, rehearsals, recording and live performance.

The passive Dynamix P-style neck pickup and Dynamix J-style bridge pickup form a versatile PJ pickup configuration. This combination allows you to explore a broad range of bass tones, from deep, full-bodied low end to a more defined, cutting sound. The two individual volume controls and master tone control make it easy to blend the pickups and shape your sound to suit different musical styles.

For additional low-end power, the Ibanez GSR200PC-TPB Bass is equipped with the Phat II active bass boost circuit. This dedicated EQ adds extra bass emphasis when you need a thicker, more powerful sound, while the standard passive pickups provide the foundation for its versatile tonal character.

A fully adjustable Ibanez B10 bridge offers individual string saddle adjustment, while the 34-inch (864mm) scale length provides the familiar feel of a full-scale electric bass. With 22 medium frets, a 41mm nut width and 19mm string spacing, the Ibanez GSR200PC-TPB Bass is a practical choice for players exploring different techniques and musical genres.

Whether you're learning your first basslines, recording new material or performing with a band, the Ibanez GSR200PC-TPB Bass - Transparent Pale Black Burst combines distinctive styling, adaptable PJ electronics and dependable hardware in an affordable instrument.
